How is HotGigs.com different from job boards such as Monster.com or HotJobs?

Most "job boards" are designed to help people seeking employment to find full time jobs. The main users of the site are Human Resources representatives that are seeking full time employees. While there are consulting and staffing firms that post jobs and search for resumes online, they are mainly seeking for full time employees and NOT for sub-contractors.

Most corporate managers wouldn't think to use sites such as these to identify consultants or temporary workers, and frankly wouldn't pay the fees to use the sites in this fashion.

HotGigs.com is free for corporate hiring and vendor managers to use which means that they can search and find your profile faster and easier than any other site.

How is HotGigs different from most other Freelance sites for independent consultants?

HotGigs.com isn't just for Independents & Freelancers, but is where companies can source consultants from all possible providers including their prefferred staffing & consulting vendors. HotGigs.com goal is to provide them with options from all sources including vendors and independents so that they can compare rates and availability across all segments of the market when needing outsourced talent.

HotGigs.com is a consulting search engine that provides companies with easy & instant search results when seeking contract/consulting resources, and does NOT require them to entering exhausting requistions that get emailed to a list of consultants & firms that could then overwhelm them with responses.

HotGigs.com will then direclty connect companies with the consultants (or firms) when they are interested to help enhance your direct access to each other in the future.

How is HotGigs.com promoted and how do new companies, consultants, and vendors find the HotGigs.com website?

HotGigs.com is launching during the 1st quarter of 2004, so we are actively promoting the site using online keyword campaigns, email campaigns, and with telemarketing campaigns to large, medium, and small sized companies nationally.

HotGigs users also invite their peer consultants and vendors by the hundreds as they build their Personal Contact Lists which helps link them to each other on an ongoing basis and assist each other in finding gigs through the network.

Companies that choose to use the HotGigs.com Network to identify consultants will typically notify their entire network of vendors that they should update their inventory of availalble consultants in the site, and then will have all of their internal managers use the HotGigs Consultant Search Engine to identify consultants within their preferred vendors.

Vendors that want to streamline their communication with both clients and consultants can upload their contacts into the HotGigs PCL also and have a dynamic link that will help them stay focused on activity that builds their business, versus the busy-work of simply trying to keep up with the never changing world of consultants (and their availability) and open gigs.
