MACRO specializes in custom software development, strategic information systems planning and software support services. The combined technical and business skills of our staff and their extensive experience, from small applications to enterprise-wide development, are the key factors in the success of our projects.

We are not a re-seller for any hardware or software vendor, and offer our customers objective advice on possible solutions and techniques. For this reason, we employ people who have a wide range of experience in multiple kinds of platforms and environments who are constantly studying and learning new things, and are able to articulate the advantages and disadvantages of different options. At this time, most of our staff specializes in MICROSOFT and IBM solutions, but the breadth of our corporate expertise means that we can offer a very wide range of services - often more than can be neatly summarized with the "highlights" portion of the resume.

We emphasize active account management in all our customer engagements. Our marketing representatives have technical backgrounds, they understand project requirements and recommend the best staffing. The account managers monitor the project timeline, quality assurance, and personnel assignment to make sure that our customers get a full-service solution.

We also emphaisze knowledge transfer. We make thorough and careful documentation and cross-training an essential of our services.

We can provide full-time or part-time resources, and can work out of our downtown Minneapolis facility for customers who do not have space on-site. We have provided more then 30 complete, turnkey applications for both public and private sector clients, and have a project development, project management, package selection, and data warehouse methodology to help our customers be successful.

We are also specialists in requirements definition/prioitization. We have our own approach and an automated tool for helping customers capture complete and detailed requirements before beginning a development project.
